In a span of four months, 'Airtel Super Singer
Junior' identified many talented juniors across
Tamil Nadu. After a relentless search from
over 30,000 contestants who auditioned in
three different zones - Coimbatore, Trichy
and Chennai, it is the viewers who have made
the final decision and have chosen that VOICE
which was a class apart.

In a nail biting finale this week, the winner of Airtel
Super Singer Junior will be announced. The countdown has
begun!! Tough competition between Vignesh and Krishnamoorthy
for the most coveted title 'Airtel Super Singer Junior'
was held on July 06, 2007. Super Singer Junior has been
received with a phenomenal response and an unbelievable
number of viewers had voted giving Tamil Nadu its favorite
singer. Yes...the day has come for everyone to know who
will be the Super Singer Junior.
The coveted award will be presented by the veteran and
the most famous carnatic singer, Padmabhushan Sangeetha
Kalanidhi Dr. Balamuralikrishna. The winner not just gets
the honors of winning the title but gets to take home
Rs.5 lakh!!
As part of the grand finale celebrations, some of the
popular contestants who were eliminated earlier; are back
for special performances. Shivathmika, Manasvini, Larsen
Cyril, Giridhar and Balasarangan perform with great enthusiasm
on the sets. The judges Usha Uthup and Chitra are also
lined up to perform for these children. The results will
be announced on July 13, 2007 at 8:00 pm on Vijay TV.
A special episode of Super Singer Jr. is planned on July
14, 2007, giving these singers a special platform to perform
with some of the popular faces of the music industry like
K.J.Vijay Yesudas, Mahathi and Srilekha Parthasarathy.
