Surya is just back from his demanding shoot
schedules, in the villages of Karaikkudi,
Dindigul, and Pazhani, for Vel in which he
plays a dual role. ‘My dual role for
Vel is a tad different from other dual roles’.
‘Both my characters are extremists’,
the actor vouches. ‘Vel is all about
family relationships in a joint family.

We have just wrapped up the second part of the movie since
the rain has favored greenish landscapes in and around
Karaikkudi, Dindigul, and Pazhani,’ Surya further
adds.
Surya revealed that Aamir Khan recently contacted him
to discuss on the remake of Gajini. ‘Aamir felt
that the role would best suit for a well-built actor like
Salman Khan. He sought my opinion about his portrayal
of the role’, Surya stated. However, Surya noted
that he cleared Aamir’s apprehensions and told him
that director Murugadoss is worth banking and he would
do wonders with the movie.
Before signing off, Surya noted that he is holding discussions
for his next movie and will arrive at a decision in October.
