The extremities in climate – scorching hot during days and freezing cold during nights – did not apparently go well with the petite beauty who caught with flu immediately.

However, Asin did not let the shooting halt owing to her sickness and went on to finish the shoots before reaching Chennai a couple of days ago where she had commitments for her upcoming project Vel with Surya. After reaching Chennai, Asin participated in the Independence Day special of an FM radio – of which she is a brand ambassador – where she complained of dizziness.

She immediately returned home where her mother, Dr. Celin, diagnosed Asin of having viral flu. She is under medical supervision and is advised to be in bed rest. Owing to this, her shoots for Vel have been cancelled and are expected to commence only after her regaining perfect fitness.
