Mohanlal's father dies

Popular Malayalam actor Mohanlal's father Viswanathan Nair died in a hospital at Trivandrum on Monday evening. He was eighty years old and is survived by his wife Shantakumari and son Mohanlal. His other son Pyarelal died few years back.Viswanathan Nair, a retired Law special secretary in the state

services was suffering from pulmonary infection for some time and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. He breathed his last around 9.30 in the night. His family members were present during his last moments. His body was kept at his residence for people to pay their last respects to the departed soul. Distinguished politicians and Malayalam film personalities attended the funeral procession.
