During an interview to a Pakistan television
channel, Salman Khan has said that the
26/11 terrorist attack was hyped because
it was an attack on the elite group of
people. This comment has irked the politicians
and citizens. Several social organizations
have sought an apology from the actor.
He was reported as saying “Everybody
took this up because the Taj and Oberoi
hotels were involved. The attacks happened
because our security failed.”
The actor immediately tendered an apology
for hurting the sentiments of the people
and said that the channel had twisted
his comments.
