Karthi, along with Suriya’s
daughter Diya and other relatives paid a
visit to the Vandalur Zoo recently. The
actor and his entourage traveled in a battery-operated
car to view the scenic beauty and the wildlife.
After the trip, Karthi offered to adopt
the one-and-half-year old white tiger
Namrata and wrote off a cheque amounting
71,768. The zoo staff said that the amount
would cover six months’ expenses of the
tiger.
The actor said that wildlife had always
impressed him and he would visit various
forests during his spare time.
