Vaaranam Aayiram doubtful?

Kollywood is gearing up for the Diwali releases and the excitement seems to be catching up with the fans and critics with almost all the diwali releases – Aegan, Seval, Guru En Aalu – being duly certified by the censor board. While expectations were rife that Vaaranam Aayiram, which also faced the Censor Board and was certified, will be released

for Diwali, sources close to the team are skeptical.

Even the promos seem to be subdued with absolutely no advertisements of Vaaranam Aayiram being released today. Vaaranam Aayiram's release has always been doubtful with the team constantly changing the release date. It remains to be seen whether it will finally join the Diwali race.

Meanwhile, Aegan seems to be a sure shot Diwali release. Slated to be released on Saturday, October 25, 2008 Aegan’s advance booking is open from tomorrow.
