Balaji
Shakthivel who proved his mettle as
a talented director with Kaadal established
that his success was not a flash in
the pan with Kalloori. Currently he
is known in the industry as someone
who can deliver quality films with a
linear narration and can handle scripts
deftly.
His next project would be funded by Lingusamy’s
Tirupathy Brothers Film Company. Balaji has
chosen a debutant as hero and is on the hunt
for a suitable heroine. The film has been
interestingly titled Vazhakku En 18/7. Music
composer for the film is also not finalized.
Kollywood circles allege that Balaji has postponed
the shoot till he gets the right heroine as
he believes in casting the right people for
the script will ensure success of the film
and does not want to compromise on this.
