Dhanush and Selvaraghavan will be teaming
up yet again for Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam.
The siblings carved a niche for themselves
with their very first film together - Thullavadho
Ilamai. Since then there has been no turning
back for the brothers. Selvaraghavan went
on to become a master storyteller and Dhanush
became the hottest star in town. Their last
film together, Pudhuppettai was a class
apart in narration and cinematography, though
it could not do great things at the box
office. Since then, Selvaraghavan moved
on to make a hit in Telugu, the Tamil remake
of which featured Dhanush, Yaradee Nee Mohini.
Currently, Dhanush is in the final lap of
Padikkathavan while Selvaraghavan’s
Aayirathil Oruvan is eagerly awaited.
From the stills of Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam
we infer that Andrea pairs up with Dhanush
and that Yuvan Shankar Raja is out of the
Selvaraghavan team. The film is produced
by Dr Vimala Geetha of RK Productions, sister
of the actor-director duo. Let’s see
whether the brother-brother-sister troika
is as successful as the brother duo.
