PL Thenappan has filed a complaint against the
Hindi film maker Sajid Nadiadwala at the Producers’
Council. It is learnt that Thenappan was shocked
to find the story of the recently released Akshay
Kumar starrer Housefull was similar to the Kamal
Haasan and Prabhu Deva starrer Kadhala Kadhala.
Further, the story's credit was taken by Sajid
Nadiadwala.
According to the producer, Sajid approached
him for the rights of this film initially, but
the talks did not go further. With the release
of Housefull recently, Thenappan came to know
that his copyrights have been violated by Sajid
and hence decided to file a complaint. |
