The
International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards
will be held in Sri Lanka this year from July
2 to 4, 2010. The venue for this prestigious
event will be the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium
in Colombo.

Jagoda said that there was a tough competition
among many countries to host the event but SL
was given the opportunity.
There are reports that IIFA awards ceremony
for the year 2011 will be held in Toronto.
