Jai’s fate hangs in air….

The controversial statements made by actor Jai prophesizing that the projects in which he has been signed up – Arjunan Kadhali, Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, and Adhe Neram Adhe Idam- will not do well at the box office had several of his producers seething in anger. The Producers’ Council called for a meeting today to discuss the issue and penalize the actor.

At the meeting it was decided that Jai should

complete the films on hand and should not sign up new projects. Since Jai is a growing actor and a competent one at that, the council decided to bring the issue to the notice of Nadigar Sangam. The Nadigar Sangam also confirmed the penalty. However, lifting of the ban, after Jai completes these projects, rests with the Producer’s Council.
