Actress Vega debuted in the movie Saroja. She had acted in the Telugu movie Housefull before foraying into Kollywood. Saroja gave Vega the much-deserved break in the Tamil Industry.

Though she had offers pouring in after her successful debut in Kollywood, Vega did not accept all for want of good roles that would project her acting prowess. Having obtained a degree in acting from Australia, she acted in many stage plays in Mumbai after which

she made her entry to the silver screen. The actress says, “Even today the new faces should have some basic training in acting before entering filmdom and their success should bank entirely on their acting proficiency.” Her next project is a Hindi movie Aamras. Vega is waiting for a good story and a reputed director to be cast in Tamil film again.
