Maddy’s mission to look eligible for Shruthi

Director Nishikant Kamat after an impressive Tamil debut with Evano Oruvan, is geared up to commence his next venture, once again with his favorite actor cum friend Madhavan. The film is titled ‘Enrenrum Punnagai’ the famous opening lines from a song from Maddy’s first film Alaipayudhe. The interesting fact about this film is that Shruthi Hassan,

daughter of Kamal Hassan will be making her screen entry after declining many offers.

Enrendrum Punnagai will have music scored by Shankar-Ehson-Loy and it has been reported that the trio had composed six songs in just one week. The theme is touted to be a romantic thriller in which heroine Shruthi is slated to sing two songs. Hero Maddy, to look younger and to match with the young and beautiful Shruthi, has gone on a strict diet and exercise regimen and has shed a lot of flab. Enrendrum Punnagai will go on floors in June.
