Mani’s trilingual
epic Raavanan (Raavan in Hindi and Villain
in Telugu), releasing this weekend seems to
be on its way to keep the turnstiles busy
for quite sometime starting from tomorrow.
Multiplexes and cinema halls are planning
to open the advance bookings from tomorrow.
Since the buzz is quite strong for the movie,
tickets are expected to be sold out within
minutes of opening of the booking window this
midnight. Advance booking sales at the counters
are expected to start tomorrow and theaters
across the city are propping up measures to
tackle the crowd.
According to a press release, in Tamil Nadu,
a total of 220 prints of Raavanan would be
released and 125 prints are being dispatched
overseas. The Telugu version will see 125
prints in India and 25 overseas. The Hindi
version will have 500 prints across the country,
besides 305 for overseas. In total 1280 prints
of Raavan in different versions are set to
release.
