Silambarasan & Nayanthara look back!
July 06, 2008

There are some things that have to be talked over. Letting them go untouched may do more harm than good. Talking over matters that have already caused us considerable distress may be a tough thing to do, but only tough decisions yield good results. The Silambarasan-Nayanthara relationship has been one of the most talked about off

Simbu & Nayanthara
screen issues in Kollywood over the past 18 months or so. It has caused considerable discomfort to many people, most of all the couple itself. It was quite unfortunate that things had to come to the sort of conclusion that they finally reached. But then that’s life and when such things happen to stars, they are magnified and scrutinized. There have been many instances of star lives being under the scanner which we do not wish to cite.

The best thing here is that both Silambarasan and Nayanthara decided to put the break up behind them and move forward which is the only sensible thing to do. Mulling over things that went wrong can only add to the stress. Now, there has been a flutter that has been sparked off by a rendezvous that Silambarasan and Nayanthara had at a hotel in Chennai. Trisha and Navdeep were behind arranging this meeting. Quite naturally there were a few speculations surrounding this meeting, that of the pair getting back together. But the facts are a bit different.

One of Kollywood’s leading stars is said to have expressed his love for Nayanthara. Now this seems to have put her in a dilemma, unsure of how to go about matters without getting the media jumping to all sorts of conclusions. She is also said to have been apprehensive about how Silambarasan would react to these developments in her life. It is to clear the air that the meeting with Silambarasan was arranged. He was gracious enough to come and say that he had put the past behind him.

What happened here shows the mutual respect that industry artistes have for each other. It is easy to turn sour and feel offended when something unfortunate happens in one’s life but the tough and the right thing to do is to forget things and more importantly, allow others to forget it too. What happened at the meeting seems to have been in the best interests of both Silambarasan and Nayanthara.
