Bharathiraja and R.K. Selvamani support Seeman

Director Bharathiraja and R.K. Selvamani visited the Kovai prison yesterday to express their solidarity to director Seeman. Seeman had been languishing in the prison for his speech that supported the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lankan. Speaking to the media after their talk with Seeman, Bharathiraja said that it is the right of every Tamilian to support the cause of

the Tamils worldwide. He added that Seeman was acting in the best interests of Tamils. Bharathiraja affirmed that Seeman would emerge victorious after the investigations are over.

Lashing out at senior Congress leader S.R. Balasubramaniam, Bharathiraja said that his comment that the Tamil film industry is infused with funds from the Tamil Tigers, the director challenged him to prove it. He added that such allegations were against the Central Government, which incidentally is led by the Congress.
