Shruti Haasan did not
participate in the function that was held
by the Kerala government to felicitate Kamal
Haasan for completing 50 years in cinema.
This event was boycotted by some Malayali
stars as the government did not consider
several stars in their state who have achieved
this fete.
Shruti, Kamal’s eldest daughter, was
also not present at this event. When asked
about her absence, the actress-musician
rued that she was busy with film shooting
and the making of a music album and hence
could not attend the event.
