The remake of Kaakha
Kaakha in Hindi is due to begin soon with
the film’s producer Vipul Shah and director
Nishikanth Kamat doing the groundwork. The
film has John Abraham playing Suriya’s role.
There were reports that Asin, who worked
with Vipul Shah in London Dreams earlier,
will be paired opposite John. But sources
in the tinsel town now say that Genelia
has bagged the role.
It has to be mentioned here that Genelia
and John were paired in Hooked Ya Crooked,
but this project was put in cold storage
due to production hassles.
