As
part of their charitable projects and community
service activities, Rotary Club of Chennai
Towers had announced a mega event in Chennai
on Wednesday. Rotary Club of Chennai Towers
is a part of Rotary International Dist 3230,
which has been doing yeomen service to the
cause of the poor and economically weaker
sections of the society. Having executed projects
worth crores of rupees, the club is currently
on two projects "Project Give Light"
and "Mission save heart, save child".
To raise funds for the projects, the Rasvihar
Coffee morning program was conducted in Chennai
today (4th August) at "Hotel Savera"
at 10 AM. Ms. Sripriya Rajkumar, Film actor
& director, was the chief guest of the
function and Ms. Nalini Olivannan (First Lady
of Rotary District 3230) was the special invitee.
Events like Tambola, lucky draw, spot games
were conducted for the participants and the
proceedings will be used for Health care initiatives
of the Club.
Rasvihar was the main sponsor of the event,
Way2Wealth, NAC and VBJ were the other sponsors.
The elite event was attended by eminent personalities
like Uma Padhmanathan and Devadarshini.
