According to reports, a 34-year-old man from Tripura was hacked to death by his roommate over money dispute on Sunday in Sholinganallur. Police reportedly said the deceased spent the money he collected from three other roommates to pay house rent on buying liquor. The victim along with his three roommates got drunk on Sunday, and an argument broke out over the rent issue. One of the roommates hit him with an iron rod leaving him dead on the spot. Police have arrested the accused, and the victim’s body was sent for post-mortem.
