According to a report by Reuters, Russian scientists have developed a robot named Alantim which will be deployed as a bionic bodyguard for England fans arriving in Russia for the 2018 World Cup. Reportedly, the scientists have released a video of the robot pledging to provide security for England fans on their trip to Russia to watch the tournament. Notably, England fans were attacked by Russians at Euro 2016.
