MPs and MLAs in AIADMK general secretary Sasikala’s faction of the party, headed by Lok Sabha deputy speaker Thambidurai, will reportedly meet the Chief Election Commissioner of India in Delhi on Thursday. According to reports, the lawmakers are expected to explain the Election Commissioner about Sasikala’s appointment as the party chief. Notably, O Panneerselvam and supporters had met the CEC on Wednesday.
