Archaeologists had reportedly unearthed the oldest known human fossil. According to reports, the fossil was unearthed during an excavation expedition in a former barite mine 100km west of Marrakesh, Morocco. The dating tests have reportedly revealed that the discovered bones were about 300,000 years old. Notably, this detail has revealed that Homo sapiens (Modern human) is 100,000 years older than previously assumed.
