Speaking at a charity dinner on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India should become a global diamond trading hub. Noting that India is now the world's largest manufacturer of cut and polished diamonds, PM Modi also said he wanted to deploy 'Make In India' and 'Skill India' initiatives in the jewellery sector.
