Macron names Edouard Philippe as France PM

New French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday named centre-right Edouard Philippe as the first Prime Minister of his administration, making his first major political decision a day after inauguration as France's leader. The move is reportedly being seen as Macron's way of showing that he is a real centrist who can unite elements of the left and right to overcome old party divides.
