The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack that killed at least 29 Coptic Christians and injured over 20 others on Friday. Around ten gunmen, dressed in military uniform, attacked vehicles carrying worshippers to a monastery near the southern city of Minya. Notably, ISIS has made several attacks in the past targeting Coptics in Egypt.
