An assistant teacher in Assam, his colleague and two students from Class 3 were the ones to hoist national flag in Assam’s Naskara LP school during Independence day. A photo of them saluting the national flag, standing in knee length water has gone viral. The school’s assistant teacher took to facebook and posted the picture saying, "We hoisted the tricolour and sang the national anthem as we are proud to observe the freedom of our nation. Many schools have celebrated the Independence day in spite of heavy rains.
