According to media reports, at least 22 people were killed in a stampede in Elphinstone station on Friday. The BMC’s disaster management team urged to the spot and reportedly said that 22 people were killed and 27 more were injured. The incident took place on the foot of overbridge that links Elphinstone and Parel suburban station.
