Centre extends deadline for mandatory Aadhaar for social benefits to Dec 31

The deadline for mandatory Aadhaar to receive social benefits has been extended to December 31, the Centre reportedly told the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The deadline was earlier fixed at September 30. The apex court has also agreed to list the petitions challenging Aadhaar for hearing in the first week of November.
