A 45-year-old man allegedly assaulted his 70-year-old mother in Punjab for almost two years. Reportedly the woman had four sons and three daughters, and she lived with her bachelor son as others were married and lived separately. Her son sexually assaulted her for two years as he was influenced under alcohol. She maintained the secret fearing that her family name would get spoiled. According to media reports, she revealed the secret to one of her daughters and the family decided to register a complaint.
