The Supreme Court on Wednesday reportedly permitted to abort a 32-week fetus of a 13-year-old rape victim from Mumbai. This is the oldest fetus to be terminated. While it is illegal to terminate a fetus after 20 weeks, the bench reportedly decided to permit the termination of pregnancy, as the class VII student allegedly did not want to carry on with the pregnancy.
