Gayatri, a 26 year old woman from Anakaputhur, allegedly stabbed her mother Vanaja, a tailor, in the chest with a tailoring knife as her mother kept forcing her to find a job in Chennai. Police reports state that the mother-daughter duo got into a quarrel and Gayatri stabbed her mom, who was later declared dead by the paramedics. She has been sentenced to prison by a court.
