In an attempt to enhance efficiency in serving travellers, Chennai airport is going “silent” from Monday, putting an end to audio announcements on flight information. The airport had made arrangements for information through digital displays as part of initiative, authorities reportedly said adding, the airport was done taking a cue from Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi airports.
