BCCI has been issued a legal notice by the Allahabad High Court for promoting tobacco products in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League. Gujarat Lions jersey carries the name of ‘Shudh Plus’ a manufacturer of pan masala and tobacco products. As per law, with any promotion of tobacco products a warning must be given to the public, stating ‘ chewing or consuming tobacco products is injurious to health’.
