Around 40 people assaulted and attempted to abduct doctor over the death of a 65-year old patient in a private hospital Mangaluru on Tuesday. According to reports, Dr Abhijit Shetty, an Assistant Professor at the Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital, was assaulted by angry relatives of the deceased. Notably, the doctors at the Deralakatte hospital has registered a FIR in the Ullal police station.
