Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister KP Anbalagan on Thursday reportedly announced that 89 new arts and science courses have been introduced in 24 constituent colleges of state universities. Out of the 89 courses, 42 are for undergraduate programmes and 47 are for postgraduate programmes. He also announced that the government had allocated Rs 2.82 crore for this purpose.
