EXCLUSIVE: “IAM A VERY BOLD WOMAN…”- POPULAR ACTRESS ABOUT HER ROLE IN ULTA!

The actress made a comeback in movies after acting in Nivin Pauly’s ‘Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’ in 2017. After that, she had acted in many Malayalam movies such as ‘Kuttanadan Marpappa’, ‘Mangalyam Thanthunanena’, ‘Happy Sardar’ etc. The actress will now be seen in new movie ‘Ulta’, which is meant to be a film about women empowerment.

Speaking about the character of her movie to Behindwoods Ice, Shanthi Krishna said, the name of her character in Ulta is Savithri. “She is a very bold woman and she is the reason for the change in the village (of the movie). It’s a very prominent role," the actress said. She also said, "even though the movie is of comedy genre, I am not doing a comic role, which is a change for me”. In most of her comeback movies, she was seen in roles with a comic touch.

Ulta will be released on December 6. Gokul Suresh and Prayaga Martin will do the lead roles in the movie, which will also feature K.P.A.C Lalitha, Anusree, Thesni Khan, Ramesh Pisharody, among others. The movie is directed by Suresh Poduval and produced by Subhash Cipy.
