‘Udalaazham’ is the Malayalam movie, which has won many recognitions in international festival circuit and Mumbai Film Festival. It was also screened at International Film Festival of Kerala in 2018. The movie produced by three doctors—Dr Manoj KT, Dr Rajesh MP, Dr Sajish M, under the banner (2018) Doctors Dilemma productions is brought to theatres by director Aashiq Abu. The film is directed by Unnikrishnan Avala.
The movie deals with body identity crisis and the male lead is Photographer-fame Mani, who acts as a tribal youth in the forests of Nilmabur. The trailer of the movie was launched by Mohanlal, via his Facebook page. The movie will be released on December 6.
The impressive trailer depicts the raw life of Gulikan (Mani) and Anumol’s character, who is having an identity or body crisis — the central theme of the movie. The movie will see playback singers Sithara Krishnakumar and Mithun Jayaraj’s debut as music directors.
The cast of the movie includes Indrans, Sajitha Madathil, among others. The movie was shot in sync sound. The cinematographer is Muhammed A, Renganaath Ravee the sound designer, and Appu Bhattathiri is the editor.
