Apart from the already existing problems for Tamil cinema officials, like the clash between the Actor's association heads, problems in Producers association etc.. Politicians such as Ramdoss and Thirumavalavan have come up with another problem insisting Tamil movie makers to name a film only in Tamil. Many producers and film makers changed their film names in order to restrict certain problems for their films from the politicians. Some of the film names which are changed includes Cheran's "Touring Talkies" and Muralitharan's "Raskal". In the latest, S J Suriya's "Best friend" was changed to "Priyamana Nambare" and Sekar's "Flashback" was changed to "Antha naal nyabagam".

While many are changing their film names, Kamal Hassan has come up with his own idea. In an inauguration ceremony of  popular director Mouli's "Flight-172" DVD version, Kamal spoke about Politicians unnecessarily interfering with the Cinema people. He said that certain words were best described in English rather than Tamil. He said that the words such as flight, bus, kiss etc are well known only in their own fashion rather than in Tamil and that it was an unnecessary behavior to stress useless idea's into some one. He said he is going to name his new movie in a combination of both English and Tamil.

It is expected that problems may arise for Kamal's new movie, like the problems raised for Rajinikanth's "Baba" and Vijayakanth's "Gajendra".
