Director Vasanthabaalan must be lauded for this
effort of his. It does not look like the work
of a debutant director. The temptation to add
the so called commercial ingredients too has
been resisted. A big part of the credit has
to go to Shankar of S Pictures for placing trust
in the director and the script.

Talk:
A typical sob story doesn’t set the registers
ringing. But, the performances of all actors
and Pasupathi in particular, do the trick. A
movie that can be watched by the entire family.
May not go on to become a superhit, but sure
to set a new trend.
