Gavi Gangadhareswara temple is a Shiva temple and the speciality of the temple is, every year on Makara Sankaranthi day a ray of light passes accurately through the horns of the Nandhi bull and illuminates the diety inside.It is known for it’s four monolithic pillar and rare idol of Agni the God of fire, built by Kempe Gowda.
