on the gate walls and for the well preserved
Ganesha Temple. Tipu Sultan preserved the
Ganesha temple as a testament to his religious
tolerance.Tipu’s palace and the museum
is noted for its architecture, the lay out
and the overall look of the palace gives you
the idea of the ethenic Mughal life style.
The palace is built in 1791. It is a two storied
ornate wooden structure with exquisitely carved
pillars, arches, balconies was one of tipu’s
favourite summer retreats. Whitefield the
Ashram of Shri Sathya Sai Baba is the chief
attraction of the religious tourists and the
ashram is also called Brindavan for its serenity
and the green ambiance in which it is situated.
