Trisha likes to keep her homely look in Tamil

Mazhai with Jeyam Ravi and Sreya in the lead is the remake of superhit Telugu film, Varsham. SPB Charan is the

producer. The film has been shot at express speed and nearing completion. Trisha was the leading lady in the Telugu film and was soaked in rain throughout the film. No wonder the glamour appeal made the film a box office hit. The producer of the Tamil version wanted her to be the heroine. But, Trisha declined and the chance went to Sreya. Trisha reportedly said that she was not ready to get wet again. But the real reason, as per industry grapevine is that Trisha does not want to appear as sexy in Tamil as she had in Telugu.
