films like Anandam and
Run
made the audience take
note of Lingusamy as a
talented director who
could handle different
genres. But, his release
last year, G, failed
miserably, partly owing
to a lackluster screenplay
and an overweight Ajit
as the lead male. Disappointed
with the turn of fortunes,
he has changed his preference
and is now directing
Chellame star Vishal
in an action flick,
Sandaikkozhi. Meera
Jasmine is
the heroine. The shooting
of the songs is on at
AVM Studios in the tastefully
done sets by art director
Selva. In another floor
of the same studios,
Satyaraj is shooting
for Vanakkam thalaiva.
