BW: A brief introduction

Anand Govindan : I am Anand Govindan and I am one of the producers of this film. This is my first film as a producer. Arun and I are good friends and we often discuss about Tamil cinema. When Arun told me the story, it struck a chord in me and generated an interest. However when I was worried about its financial viability, Arun suggested that we go for a global film and made me understand that the film can be taken to a worldwide audience. As I was reading the script, I realized the significance. We are also glad that the film won many awards at international festivals and was received well. Please see the film with your family in theatres and encourage a good effort.

Why the film was shot entirely in US?

This film could have been shot anywhere even in India but it may not have had the desired reach. We chose New Jersey to shoot because we have all the facilities and infrastructure there and the ambience was much conducive. And also the place was apt for the story.
