Zinta has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador
of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS
in India. The actress will spread awareness
about the AIDS and how to prevent it. She will
travel extensively to rural areas to let people
know about the treatment, care and support available
for the HIV patients.
Taking her new role seriously, Preity has said,
“In our next match, a person living with
HIV will toss the coin. This is to send across
an important message that we shouldn't discriminate
against people living with HIV.” |
