Aamir
Khan’s 3 Idiots has broken the
record collection mark during the
opening weekend. Interestingly, Ghajini,
which was also an Aamir starrer, was
holding the coveted position and now
he has managed to break his own record.
Official sources put the total gross
collection at Rs. 93 crores. In a
press release, the film’s producer
Vidhu Vinod Chopra said, “Response
has been overwhelming from all over
the world. Aamir, Raju and I knew
from the responses earlier on that
people liked the film but this is
something else... We have got reports
from places like Australia that they
have reduced 'Avatar' shows and increased
ours.”
Apart from Aamir, 3 Idiots stars Madhavan,
Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi.
