Her movie release and Diwali celebrations follow soon after her birthday celebrations on 1st November. This beautiful actress’s unbeatable fan following by itself will have the viewers flock the theatres right from the first show.

Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Kirron Kher, Randhir Kapoor and Rajpal Yadav support the lead cast. The story is based on the 1994 Gujarati Indian play Action Replay.

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai play the aging parents of Aditya Rai Kapoor. He finds that they keep arguing frequently and attributes it to their arranged marriage. He strongly feels it wouldn’t have been so if it had been a love marriage between his parents. Anyhow that creates a phobia in Aditya towards the concept of marriage itself and he keeps running away from his girl friend Sudeepa Singh, just for the fear of getting married.

Then when the girl’s grand-dad Randhir Kapoor forces Aditya to either marry her or leave her, he happens to take away a time machine from Randhir Kapoor and decides he will not rest until he makes his dad and mom’s a love marriage. Sounds interesting and different and the skeleton of the story highlights that the script also carries comedy in par with other emotions. "It is a fun-genre romantic film," Aishwarya says. It is something like a tribute to the 70s which was the greatest retro era. It can be safely said that Action Replayy is all about rewinding your life. It is about Kishen and Mala -- two bickering senior citizens who "rediscover romance'' on their 33rd wedding anniversary, when their son gets them into rewind mode.

There are nine original numbers and four remixes. Some of the songs are absolute delights to listen to and are chartbusters already. This Diwali happens to be music Director Pritam’s double dhamaka as the other Bollywood release, Golmaal3, also has its music directed by Pritam.

Though much of it is under wraps, we know what’s in store when we have savoured the director’s earlier treats and all the more when the lead pair is good looking, super-talented and are leading fashion icons as well. It will certainly be a treat to the younger generation and rise to be a chartbuster replaying success again and again to crown the team’s efforts.
