Vikram is a director’s delight because he is willing to experiment with different types of roles. He comes out tops with characters which have defied the stereotypes. Be it Sethu or Kasi or Pithamagan, he has essayed the characters so realistically that the success of these films has pioneered a new wave in the industry. It must be said to his credit that he has raised the bar in essentially masala films like Dil, Gemini and Sami. No wonder he won the National award for best actor. Vikram’s next project Anniyan with Shankar is complete and due for release. After Anniyan, he will be working on a film to be produced by Isakki Creations (the banner which made Success with Junior Shivaji Dushyant). Vikram also has plans to enter into movie production. He has set up an office and aspirants with strong stories that are Vikramable are welcome.
